Why hire one of our nannies?
La Petite Agency represents highly qualified, passionate, professional caregivers. We require our nannies to have at least 2 years experience in professional childcare with excellent references, CPR certification, TrustLine registration (includes a background check and fingerprinting), clean DMV record, and a love of working with children! Many of our nannies have 10+ years of experience and are a wealth of knowledge on child development. You can rest assured all candidates have been through the following process:
Written application and resume submission as a first line of screening their qualifications.
In-person interview to dive deep into their experience, personality, demeanor, knowledge, and type of position they are looking for. This ensures not only that they are qualified, but that we understand which families would be a good match for them.
At least 3 references checked by phone call to assure they come highly recommended from previous employers. CPR certification, TrustLine registry, and DMV record are all verified.
Additional background checks are run once a candidate has been offered a position (per CA law, a conditional offer of employment must be made before we run our additional background check).
Agency Fees
$400 deposit to begin the search for your nanny.
Upon hiring your nanny, we charge a one-time placement fee calculated as a percentage of the nanny’s negotiated annual pay. Our standard fee is 15% for full-time and part-time nannies with a minimum of $2,500. Contact us for more information about temporary nannies or other unique situations.
Should something come up and your nanny needs to be replaced within the first 6 months of employment, we will find you new candidates at no additional cost!
