Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant - Encinitas, CA
Sweet, busy family of 4 in Encinitas is looking for an experienced nanny/family assistant to be an extra set of hands for Mom. Dad works full time out of the home and Mom works very part time from home. They have a sweet and active 2.5 year old girl, and 3 month old baby boy. They are looking for someone who will be active and hands on with the kids and will make them feel loved and safe! Flexibility to switch between nanny duties and family assistant tasks is also important. Parents believe in leading with empathy and value their children being kind to others. Would love someone looking for a long term role to grow with them for the next several years!
Location:
Encinitas, CA
Schedule and Hours:
20-25 hours per week. Flexibility for date nights/weekend help on occasion.
Minimum schedule needed is Monday 2pm-6pm, Tuesday 8:30am-4:30pm, and Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm.
Rate:
$30-$35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Will be paid on payroll.
Benefits:
Guaranteed hours. Paid vacation, sick days, and holidays.

As soon as possible, but willing to wait for the right person.
About the Children:
Girl, 2.5 - She is full of personality! Very very active and curious. She is very social and loves being around other kids, loves being outside. She is very sweet, but is also your typical 2 year old and needs boundaries.

Responsibilities:
Engaging, loving, and caring for the 2.5 year old while mom is caring for baby boy. Sometimes caring for baby while mom takes toddler on an outing, occasionally responsible for caring for both children if mom is out running errands or has an appointment. They have a play room and backyard and would also love the nanny to take her out to the park or other places to socialize and have adventures.They do very little TV so mainly engaging in developmental and fun activities. Making toddler’s lunch, nap time, typical toddler responsibilities. For baby, caring for him including feeding, changing, tummy time, etc. When mom is around and spending time with the kids (or during nap times) family assistant duties will including light housekeeping/tidying, loading/unloading the dishwasher, laundry for the kids (bonus if you are willing to do family laundry as well), maybe running errands or helping out with a household organizational project. They have a housekeeper that comes once a week to do the deep cleaning.
Requirements:
Previous experience with newborns and toddlers is a must
Reliable and punctual
Willing to care for kids when they are mildly sick
CPR Certified
Covid vaccinated
Driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable car
Trustline registered or willing to register
Able to work legally in the US
Long term commitment
Bonus if you speak Spanish or French
