Part-Time Nanny - El Cajon, San Diego, CA

Family of 3 is seeking an experienced, dedicated, part-time nanny for their 16 month old son. He has some delays in development and is currently in physical therapy. They would like to find a nanny who either has experience working with kids who are in physical or occupational therapy or someone who would like to learn about this and will be very dedicated to their son’s development. Mom will be working from home while the nanny is there. Looking for at least a 6 month commitment, ideally open to a year.

Location:

El Cajon, CA

Schedule and Hours:

MW, 12-16 hours per week. Exact times are flexible, something like 9am-3pm or 8am-4pm.

Rate:

$25-30 per hour DOE

Responsibilities:

Typical toddler care duties - playing and engaging in age appropriate activities, preparing snacks and lunch, diaper changes, going on walks or playing outside. Keeping up with his physical therapy “homework” and fostering his development. Communicating with parents and following their parenting style. Light household duties would be helpful during nap times (dishwasher, tidying play areas, etc). No driving will be required at this time.

Requirements:

2+ years experience as a nanny is preferred, experience with toddlers is a must

Infant/Child CPR certified

Able to work legally in the US

Trustline registered or willing to register

Willing to submit to a background check

Bonus if you have physical or occupational therapy experience
