Full-Time Nanny - Coronado, CA

Busy family of 4 is in need of 2 all-star, career nannies to care for their 6 month old boy and 3.5 year old girl. Parents both work very long hours so their nanny must be able to take full charge of the kids and maintain the daily structure of the household. Their ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience as a nanny, is highly empathetic and patient, organized, and can hold firm boundaries, and is extremely punctual/reliable. Bonus if you speak Russian or Spanish. This role does require a willingness to be up to date on all vaccines. Family requires long hours of coverage, several schedule options are detailed below. This is a long term opportunity, they envision having nanny care for a minimum of 2 years, ideally longer.

A little about their family values:

It is really important to us that the kids’ curiosity for the world is fostered. If the kids ask questions we engage them and get curious about things together. We value empathy and want the kids to always feel loved. We don’t allow any screen time and like them to be active and outside. We even avoid using our phones for things like playing music and prefer them to listen to CD’s. Healthy eating is important to us, we don’t give them many snacks, very limited sugar/processed foods. We are very pro discipline in a kind and respectful way. We are still figuring this out and are open to suggestions from nannies’ past experiences. We want to validate them while holding firm boundaries.

Holding boundaries with the kids as set forth by the parents, helping the 3.5 year old as she continues to adjust to having a baby brother, fostering a loving sibling relationship.
