Live-In Full-Time or Part-Time Nanny - Rancho Santa Fe, CA

Fun, active family in Rancho Santa Fe is seeking a live-in nanny to help their family thrive. They have boy/girl twins who are 7 years old. The girl has Type 1 Diabetes which requires constant monitoring and intervention which is a big part of why they need help! Must be comfortable with being involved in her diabetes care, you will be trained on this by the parents. Their ideal candidate is flexible, proactive, hard working, creative, fun, energetic, and positive. They will provide separate living quarters for the nanny in a guesthouse on their property (a spouse may live there with you, no kids).

Rancho Santa Fe, CA

Schedule:

Exact schedule TBD between family and nanny, they do request flexibility to work some weekends and to travel with them several times a year. They can offer anywhere between 25-40 hours per week based on your preference.

Rate:

$25+ per hour DOE. Room and board provided as a live-in.

Both kids are very active and love jumping on the trampoline, playing sports, creating scavenger hunts, and doing fun art projects.

Pets in the home:

Responsibilities:

Typical responsibilities related to the kids such as transporting to and from school and extracurriculars, preparing meals and snacks, engaging in age appropriate fun and educational activities. etc. Attend school with the girl to help with her diabetes care. Parents will train the nanny on her diabetes care, must be up for the challenge and responsibility that comes along with this. Please be proactive and willing to pitch in where needed! Nanny will most likely need to use their own car for transporting children with a mileage reimbursement. Willing to accompany the family on domestic and international trips is a bonus.

Requirements:

2+ years of professional childcare experience

Experience with school aged kids, bonus if you have experience with a child with medical needs

Proactive, patient, active, and extremely reliable

Able to make a long term commitment

Valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle for transporting children, and clean driving record

Child CPR Certified

Trustline registered or willing to register

Able to work legally in the US
