Full-Time Nanny - University City, San Diego, CA

Grandparents raising a sweet and energetic 1 year old boy are seeking a full-time, long term nanny to take over his daily care and keep up with his energy. They are looking for an all-star career nanny who takes their job seriously and is dedicated to their work. Reliability is key for this role. Grandma will be around the house, but the nanny will have full charge care for the majority of the day. They feel that someone with a calm and easy going demeanor will fit in best with their household.

Location:

University City, San Diego, CA

Schedule and Hours:

Monday-Friday 45-50 hours per week. Exact schedule is TBD, something like 7am-4 or 5pm. Will be paid OT as applicable.

Rate:

$25-$35 per hour DOE, open to paying on payroll

Responsibilities:

Typical toddler care duties. Loving and engaging him! Feeding, changing diapers, engaging him in developmental activities, talking to him and singing to him. Family is looking for a top notch nanny who will keep him busy and be attentive to his needs, someone who is well versed in child development. Take him on outings to the park, library, zoo, etc. Family will provide a car for the nanny to drive while on the job. They might ask for tidying of his play areas, washing bottles, and baby laundry. This is a child focused role, no household responsibilities will be required.

Requirements:

2+ years experience as a nanny

Experience with toddlers and knowledgeable about child development

Mature, professional, and willing to make a long term commitment

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Trustline registered or willing to register

Infant/Child CPR Certified
