Full-Time Nanny - Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA
Family of 4 is moving from New York City to Carmel Valley, which means leaving their current beloved nanny and beginning the search for their next amazing nanny! They have 2 sweet girls, a 2.5 year old and a 2 month old. They are seeking someone who can be a true partner in raising their children. They describe themselves as simple and traditional - they value a close knit family, education, treating their children with respect, having them help around the house and teaching a sense of responsibility, and holding firm boundaries. While they love to be hands on and engaged with the kids they also value independent play. If you are a calm, cool, collected expert with infants and toddlers who also has a warm, nurturing heart, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:
Mom is currently on maternity leave caring for baby, so to start the responsibilities will be mostly related to the 2 year old. Follow the daily schedule, prepare snacks and meals, engage her in fun and educational activities, take her on outings to the park, library, etc. They plan to enroll the 2 year old in preschool so once mom goes back to work responsibilities will switch to mainly infant care and then caring for both girls in the afternoons after preschool. Mom will be working from home and likes to be involved when she can, but also does not micromanage the nanny and will trust you to do your job. The number one priority is safety, must be vigilant and not distracted by your phone. Help with the girls’ laundry, wash bottles, keep their play areas tidy, clean up after yourself and the kids. Driving will be required, to be determined if they will provide a family car or have the nanny use their own car (with mileage reimbursement).
