Full-Time LIVE-IN Nanny - Manhattan Beach, CA
Single mom needs a right hand woman to partner with her in caring for her 2 children ages 4 and 7. Mom works part time helping to run a family business, but is mainly a stay at home mom in need of support. Her ideal nanny is a self-starter, proactive, super patient, and is willing to pitch in wherever needed to help the household function. She resonates with gentle parenting and setting boundaries in a loving way. This is a tidy and organized household. Live-in accommodations include a private bedroom and bathroom, room and board covered, and a car for the nanny to drive. Dog lovers please apply, there are 2 pups in the house and the nanny will be responsible for some dog care.

Manhattan Beach, CA
Schedule and Hours:
Tuesday - Saturday and ideally Sunday mornings (open to just Tuesday - Saturday)
On school days the schedule is 7-10am and 3:30-8pm (before and after school help).
Saturday would be depending on what activities the kids have, Saturdays are a busy day for the family.
Flexibility for Mom to go out one weeknight per week and some Saturday nights.
Min. 40 hours per week guaranteed.
Rate:
$30 per hour, some room to negotiate for the right fit
Open to paying on payroll
Benefits:
Standard benefits. 2 weeks PTO, paid holidays and sick days. Preference for someone who is willing to work some holidays.

Boy, 7 and Girl, 4. Both are energetic and fun loving! Boy might have ADD (not diagnosed), girl is more easy going.
Responsibilities:
Help get the kids up and ready for school, keep them on schedule so they get out the door on time. After the kids are off to school (Mom will take them), clean up the kitchen from breakfast and do any dishes, do a load of laundry, general tidying around the house. In the afternoon helping with school pick up and transporting to extracurricular activities if needed, helping with homework, dinner time, and bedtime routine. On Saturdays the kids often have activities to get to, so helping mom get them ready and to their activities. Mom needs someone who can be flexible and be available if the kids have a school break or are home sick to work more/different hours. The kids are the focus, but be willing to help out around the house and keep things organized. Help care for the dogs (ages 2 and 17) including feeding, walking, and giving medications.
Requirements:
2+ years experience as a nanny
Efficient and organized, ability to multitask and think ahead
CPR Certified
Able to work legally in the US
Able to travel with the family
Able to make a long term commitment
Trustline registered or willing to register
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
Experience with ADD or similar preferred
Dog friendly, dog lover ideal!
