Part-Time Nanny - Clairemont, San Diego, CA
Busy family in Clairemont is looking for a reliable, organized, long term nanny for their 3 bright children ages 3, 7, and 10. They need a nanny with a take-charge personality who can handle 3 smart kiddos and keep track of the weekly schedule. The position will be mostly childcare related with some laundry and errands. Mom works from home (stays locked in her office most of the day), Dad goes into the office and works from home sometimes. Reliability is key for this position!
Location:
Clairemont, San Diego
Schedule and Hours:
M-F split shift hours. 6:30-8am and 2:30-5:30pm. On Wednesdays the afternoon shift will be 12:30-5:30pm as the kids get out of school early. With this schedule, a typical week will total 24.5 hours. Mom travels for work 5-9 days out of the month and during those times will need additional evening coverage until 7:30pm. The family will guarantee a minimum of 20 hours per week. Flexibility is desired for days when the kids are out of school or home sick.
Rate:
$25-30 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Loving and interacting with the kids! Arrive in the morning to help get the kids up, fed, ready for school, and drop them off at school/daycare. Pick the kids up after school and transport them to their many extracurricular activities. When home with the kids, engage them in educational and fun activities, they do not want someone who will be on their phone or put the kids in front of the TV. Tidy up after the kids and yourself, help with kids’ laundry, and run errands when needed. Some meal prep/starting dinner would be great, but not required.
About the children:
Boy, 10 - He is a little introverted, very into baseball and video games right now.
Boy, 7 - He is very smart, too smart for his own good sometimes. He loves baseball, watching the Padres, and reading.
Girl, 3 - She is super loving. Into books, art, and music. She thinks she is 10 like her brother and is advanced for her age.
All 3 kids are very bright and love music. They are involved in a lot of activities.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license, insurance, and ability to transport children in your own reliable vehicle.
Be able to work legally in the US.
CPR certified or willing to obtain.
TrustLine registered or willing to register.

Ability to work the split shift schedule with reliability.
A long term commitment is desired.
Would prefer some college education, but not required.
